New owners Jason & Jodie Elliott took ownership on July 1, 2015. The menu has changed as well as the name!
For 41 years previous it was Garry’s Family Restaurant. Now known as Elliott’s Restaurant, there has been many changes from the menu to a complete interior renovation. Jason Elliott is born and raised on Manitoulin Island, Jodie Elliott moved from Thunder Bay in May 2015 to purchase and run Elliott’s Restaurant.
Elliott’s Restaurant serves all day breakfast and classic Canadian cuisine. Elliott’s puts a fresh twist on some old favourites, such as the clubhouse. Our chicken clubhouse with brie cheese, apple and cranberry mayo has been re-invented into a new customer favourite! In addition to fresh cut fries we serve cajun chippers with chipotle mayo as a different side choice. We like to keep things classic but we love to have new and exciting options as well.
At Elliott’s we always put taste and quality first. Our BBQ sauce, pasta sauces and salad dressings are all made from scratch. Unique menu items like bacon jam and chicken bites are all done in house as well. Year round you can choose from a variety of dishes with local whitefish: grilled or fried filets, fish tacos and the whitefish BLT all feature fish caught here on Manitoulin Island.
Elliott’s Restaurant is a fully licensed establishment offering a nice variety of wine, liquor and beer. We are also proud to offer some of Manitoulin’s fantastic beer from local breweries. During the summer months the restaurant has a licensed patio.
Custom catering is available through the restaurant on and off site. Elliott’s caters private home parties, weddings, business meetings or events. At the restaurant we can host small private parties in our back room for up to 20 people or the entire restaurant can be used for larger parties up to 100 people. Plated dinner or buffet are available depending on the customer’s needs.
